7 simple ways to find joy

July 30, 2014

Joy, it turns out, doesn’t cost much at all. Mostly, it takes stepping outside of your routine to exercise whimsy or wonder. We can do that.

1. Get dressed up for dinner at home.
2. Cannonball into a pool.
3. Have a movie night with friends.
4. Send a message in a bottle.
5. Go for a walk and discover a new street or neighborhood.
6. Camp in the backyard.
7. Test-drive a ridiculously expensive sports car.
