7 simple ways to reflect

July 28, 2015

Reflecting is really an honest way of listening to ourselves. By letting go of concerns, rules, and desires, we surface unfettered emotion. And with that emotion come the thoughts that can guide our decisions. Here are seven ways to put yourself in a reflective state of mind.

  1. Forgive people.
  2. Send a message in a bottle.
  3. Listen to soothing sounds or music.
  4. Accept and reflect on your mistakes.
  5. Look up at the sky.
  6. Do nothing; it is doing something.
  7. Drive with no destination in mind.
