It can be hard to carve out a full 30 minutes in your daily routine for exercise (as recommended by the American Journal of Sports Medicine), but we can all squeeze in a 10-minute workout three times a day — which is just as beneficial, says the American College of Sports Medicine. How? Sprint those last few blocks to work, race up the stairs with your groceries, do squats or lunges while on hold with customer service — all of these mini-efforts add up.
