Build confidence to take on a change
Change is hard. It requires confidence that we sometimes don’t feel. To find your determination, start by building on something you’re good at. Pick one of your strengths, like collaboration or efficiency or connecting with people. Then widen the scope of that skill. If you’re outgoing, work on presentation skills. If you’re detail-oriented, learn how to budget. If you pick things up quickly, try teaching. While you’re at it, measure your confidence in terms of enjoyment, helpfulness to others, momentum, and problems solved.
