Put it in writing
If we only had a dollar for every time our expectations didn’t match someone else’s. It’s often why group efforts go awry. So agreeing on the plan up front, whether it’s throwing a baby shower or building a house, makes sense. We like to take it a step further and put our expectations in writing; then everyone thinks about them in more detail. A contract doesn’t have to be fancy. Even midway through a project, it’s not too late to write one.
