Rethink what’s important
Who doesn’t want everything to go their way all the time? But, realistically, if that happens half the time, we call it a good day. It’s a matter of picking your battles. Let’s say you want to go to a Chinese restaurant, but your friend is craving pizza. By adjusting your priority from eating Chinese with your friend to eating with your friend, you both win (even if your friend wins a little bit more).
