Who’s the boss?
Whenever we hear the phrase “too many cooks in the kitchen,” we brace ourselves for confusion and frustration. Often, it’s because no one in the group really knows who’s calling the shots. And that can lead to conflicting messages, do-overs, and general lack of progress. To clear it up, we start by defining roles and stating rules about who runs the show, based on seniority, title, area of expertise, or other criteria.
